An idyllic country retreat on the edge of a secluded lake just 35 minutes from Auckland. With 3 bedrooms, generous living flowing onto amazing decks, and a gorgeous tree-lined setting it’s the place to recharge batteries for up to 10 special friends. Kids will love the adventure, meeting horses or kayaking and fishing on the lake. Or start your plans for a boutique wedding in a venue that’s as serene and beautiful as the bride.
THE SPACE
The spacious living area has an open kitchen, vaulted pine ceiling and floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors on all three sides, creating a perfect indoor-outdoor space for events and weddings.
There are three bedrooms for guest access, each of them has floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors. Two of which are lake-facing and can access the lake directly from the room.
The lake is completely private to the 20-acre property, the guests will enjoy total privacy and exclusive access to the lake.
The lake-facing deck is perfect for yoga, meditations and get-togethers. At night time, stargazing is simply wonderful with hardly any light pollution.

The house is really astonishing, vast inside, well equipped, besides a beautiful lake with water lilies, a kayak and horses in the adjacent field. The place is gorgeous. The host prepared small attentions that were very welcoming. Even though our plan was to go and visit nearby beaches, we decided to stay a whole day in the house and take profit of the calm and beautiful surrounding. It will remain one of our best souvenirs from NZ.

Truly an amazing place! Such a beautiful and spacious house with plenty of room to lounge and relax in! We stayed as a group of 10 for New Years and was such a great place to celebrate the start of 2021 with everyone. I especially loved the deck area as it overlooks the lake. Location is close to activities such as parakai springs and paint balling! Would definitely stay again if we ever need a place for a big group again.
